MixBytes Camp

Find as many bugs as possible in your project in the shortest possible time and at an affordable price.

What is it?
MixBytes Camp is an initiative by the Mixbytes team where blockchain projects can launch their own audit contests using a community of auditors and independent security researchers who have completed the Smart Contract Auditor course as part of the MixBytes Farm program and have proven their industry expertise.
When an Audit contest makes sense
01
01
You do not want to wait until the audit company becomes available and need to start the audit ASAP.
02
02
You want to check the code of contracts without a significant investment of project team resources for long-term communications with auditors. Our Coordinators will take care of all issues related to the triage of bug submissions. Sponsor receives only a ready-made report with a list of validated vulnerabilities that can be quickly fixed.
03
03
You want the project code to be viewed by a large number of independent skilled security researchers and receive a report with all detected vulnerabilities in a convenient and structured format as a result.
04
04
You intend to increase the overall level of project security by adding an additional level of verification beyond the standard audit and open a bug bounty program.
Audit contest participants
Sponsor sets up a contest with a prize fund in order to have their project audited and all possible vulnerabilities detected.
Coordinator organizes the contest process, triage and validates the vulnerabilities submitted from the contest participants in accordance with the approved methodology, prepares the unified audit report.
Contestants audit the project code on a competitive basis and submit vulnerabilities that affect its security along with additional recommendations on code improvements.
Stages of Audit contest
Sponsor provides the necessary information to evaluate the conduct of the contest:
Contest preparation
GitHub repository with the list of contracts to be audited & hash commit specified. (Our Coordinators can help with the scope of audit preparation)
Documentation describing the logic of the project
Areas of concern to be checked and verified
Desired contest timing and allocated budget (may be adjusted on the recommendation of Coordinator based on the size of the codebase and best practices available)
